Our Little Secret
A little secret sexy fun - Under the Tuscan sun!
It's her best mate’s wedding week – and Faye Davenport is celebrating with a skinny dip under the Tuscan moon. Except she's not alone. The sexy Italian dish is Rafael Perez – her mate’s off-limits older brother. But now it's too late. This illicit, irresistible fire is already out of control…
My Review:
Well, the sizzling chemistry in this Mill & Book Dare novel is as hot as the Tuscan sun which it is set under.
I liked the character of Faye very much, she was balanced and her need to let loose was understandable which made her seem more real. Usually in the books I read, my interest is based around the hero of the novel, but Faye was captivating and likable so a pleasant change.
Together with Rafael Perez, they were dynamite in this steamy and exciting story.
My favorite scene was the unique circumstances under which the couple met, where Faye was skinny dipping in the pool late at night. It was a bold and sexy opening to a story that didn't disappoint.
A definite four out of five stars from me.
'But tonight is my chance to let my hair down, and I can't think of a better way to do it than...' She steps closer, so close the air is filled with her scent. My chest is warmed by hers and her nipples brush ever so lightly against me. 'Having some wicked fun with you.'
She closes the remaining gap, treating my erection to the unyielding pressure of her body. Her eyes lift to mine and I'm gone. Gone and pulling her against me, my mouth crushing hers. But she's just as fierce, just as wanton. Her tongue plunders, twists and tastes. She's all champagne, and something else, something's that's all her. I can't stop this. I can't.
She whimpers and it's as though she's repeating my state of mind back to me. Not that she could know how close I am to ending it. How close I am to losing it.
But you're losing it with Faye Davenport. Your little sister's best friend.
'Cazzo.' I grab her by the arms and wrench her away from me but as I do my towel hits the deck.
She gives a soft laugh. 'You look better without it.'
I shake my head, fighting for clarity, anything to lift the lustful haze that is so determined to descend.
I press my forehead to hers and drag in a breath. 'We can't do this.'
'So you keep saying...'
She brushes her lower body against me and I close my eyes, trying to concentrate on what I need to say.
'I'm Rafael.'
'Okay, Rafael, it's nice to meet you. Now, can...?' She frowns, and then her eyes widen just as swiftly, and her body stills. 'Wait. The owner, Rafael. Not... not Dani's older brother Rafael?'
'Owner. Brother. One and the same.'
Her cheeks flush crimson and her eyes widen further. 'No, no, no, no...'
She spins away [and] grabs her towel.

About the Author:
Rachael Stewart adores conjuring up stories for the readers of Harlequin Mills & Boon and Deep Desires Press, with tales varying from the heartwarmingly romantic to the wildly erotic. She's been writing since she could put pen to paper as the stacks of scrawled on A4 sheets in her loft will attest to, and the lovingly bound short stories that her father would run off at work and proudly share out with his colleagues. Thinking it was a pipe dream to be published one day, she pursued a sensible career in business but she was really play-acting, achieving the appropriate degree and spending many years in the corporate world where she never truly belonged. Always happiest when she was sat at her laptop in the quiet hours tapping out a story or two. And so here she is, a published author, her full-time pleasure, a dream come true. A Welsh lass at heart, she now lives in Yorkshire with her husband and three children, and if she's not glued to her laptop, she's wrapped up in them or enjoying the great outdoors seeking out inspiration.
